Provides independent, routine, and complex nursing care, demonstrating clinical judgment and planning skills.
Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—adapting to patient needs.
Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
Administers medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring for effects and side effects.
Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
Assesses learning needs and educates patients, families, and caregivers.
Requires a BSN (preferred), RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
Experience in related nursing specialty preferred; new graduates participate in orientation and residency programs.
Work schedule is full-time; specific hours TBD.
