We are seeking a part-time Medical Laboratory Technician or Scientist to join our dynamic team due to internal movement.
This role involves performing high-complexity lab tests, phlebotomy, specimen preparation, instrument maintenance, and quality documentation.
The position requires promoting a positive team environment, participating in training, competency testing, and continuing education, and serving on committees.
Key responsibilities include evaluating specimen integrity, analyzing patient results, troubleshooting equipment, and adhering to safety and confidentiality standards.
The ideal candidate holds an Associate Degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Technology, is ASCP certified or eligible, and has experience in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, and blood bank.
Strong accuracy, manual dexterity, communication, and computer skills are essential.
The role offers scheduled days/evenings, every 4th weekend, and benefits, with pay ranging from $22.87 to $48.38 hourly.
