The Registered Professional Nurse assesses and responds to patients' health alterations, implementing nursing interventions based on scientific and artistic principles to achieve optimal outcomes.
Patients, families, and significant others are involved in care planning and evaluation when possible.
Supervises and delegates care to Licensed Practical Nurses and Unlicensed Assistive Personnel, coordinating multidisciplinary efforts.
Contributes to a positive work environment and promotes excellent patient care aligned with organizational and nursing standards of excellence.
Must pass an AHCA Level 2 screening.
Current Florida RN license required; BSN and certification preferred at hire.
Post-July 2014 hires without a BSN must obtain one within three years; those without certification must obtain one within two years or upon eligibility.
One year of clinical experience preferred.
Position involves operating vehicles regularly for work purposes.
