Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Baylor Shift

The Certified Surgical Tech supports patient care by assisting surgeons and staff before, during, and after surgeries, ensuring a sterile environment and proper instrument handling.

This PRN role requires a minimum of 6 shifts in 6 weeks, with call rotation and variable shifts based on OR needs.

Candidates must be graduates of approved programs or armed forces training, with less than one year of experience, and hold certification from NBSTSA or NCCT (exceptions apply).

Key responsibilities include facilitating surgical procedures, maintaining asepsis, performing instrument and sponge counts, and supporting team collaboration.

Fundamental awareness of surgical equipment, environmental safety, inventory management, and OR care is preferred.
