Summary:
The Float Pool RN assesses patient and family health needs, leads nursing care planning, and evaluates care provided by the team.
Provides safe, effective nursing care to patients of all ages, utilizing the nursing process and demonstrating understanding of developmental stages.
Supervises and directs assigned personnel, performing specialized care according to unit and treatment plans.
Requires excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities preferred.
Must have ED or ICU training, at least two years of clinical and leadership experience, and knowledge of TJC standards.
Current Louisiana RN license, BLS/ACLS certification, and De-Escalation certification are required; specialty certification is preferred.
