Director of Laboratory Services
Description:
The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers age-appropriate patient care, ensuring safety and quality aligned with unit standards.
Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN license, and BLS certification (to be obtained within 2 weeks). Certifications must be maintained; renewals are mandatory within specified timeframes.
Possesses current knowledge of care for the patient population, with strong communication skills respecting patient rights.
Reports to the Patient Care Director or Manager.
Works in a clean, safe environment with exposure to infectious diseases, requiring physical stamina and dexterity to handle emergencies, patient transfers, and equipment.
Must meet physical requirements including standing, walking, reaching, and visual/hearing acuity for safe patient care.
