Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) provide essential practical nursing support in physician practice or clinic settings under the supervision of providers.

Perform patient assessments, including vital signs, specimen collection, and preparing patients for exams.

Administer medications and injections as directed.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, restocking supplies and sterilizing equipment.

Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records.

Offer patient education on lab results, medications, and follow-up care.

Assist with referrals, pre-authorizations, and lab procedures.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, Virginia LPN licensure, current BLS certification, and preferably one year of experience.

Must have strong communication, problem-solving, organizational skills, and proficiency with electronic medical records.
