The Respiratory Therapist I provides care across all age groups, following physician orders, policies, and protocols.
Responsibilities include administering therapy, performing assessments, blood gas analysis, equipment setup, and managing ventilators and oxygen therapy.
Participates in emergency responses, bedside procedures, and patient education.
Requires completion of an accredited Respiratory Care program, valid RCP license, NBRC certification, and BLS.
Strong communication, organization, and stress management skills are essential.
