This job opening in Grand Junction, CO, is for an experienced RN to staff a new 16-room Clinical Decision Unit opening in May.
Care will focus on patients needing observation after ED visits or procedures like cardiac catheterization or endoscopy, with stays of 23 hours or less.
Staffing includes RNs and EMTs, with physicians providing treatment, discharge, or admission orders.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4.
Minimum qualifications: 3+ years clinical experience (ED preferred), valid Colorado RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications.
Education requirements include graduating from an accredited nursing school, with BSN required within four years if starting with an ASN/ADN, unless extensive RN experience.
Position offers $36.35 - $54.53 hourly, 36 hours/week, with comprehensive benefits supporting wellness and work-life balance.
