Staff Nurse - RN
Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Med/Surg department provides compassionate, patient-centered care, advocating for patients and families to promote positive outcomes in a safe environment.
Partners with the healthcare team, demonstrating professionalism, autonomy, and adherence to regulatory standards.
Utilizes the nursing process and evidence-based practices to manage a diverse patient caseload.
Serves as a guide, teacher, and leader within the department.
Ensures compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, Nursing Code of Ethics, and regulatory standards.
Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred), valid Ohio RN license, and current CPR certification.
Previous hospital experience is preferred.
Must possess multitasking ability, basic computer skills, strong organization, and effective communication skills.
