This RN Educator and Professional Development Facilitator supports inpatient Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery units.
Identifies staff educational needs, develops plans, and provides ongoing in-services to enhance skills and standardize care.
Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and organizational processes.
Key responsibilities include developing orientation and continuing education programs, mentoring staff, and reviewing nursing competencies and policies.
Acts as a change agent, implementing evidence-based practices to promote quality care and positive work environments.
Assists with annual learning assessments, preceptor development, and aligns with Magnet framework standards.
Requirements: BSN (Master’s preferred), RN licensure in Virginia, minimum 3 years’ experience, and relevant certifications. Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills are essential.
