The nurse independently provides routine and complex care in a clinical setting, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of patient situations and managing contingencies effectively.
Meets competencies related to self-leadership, team leadership, and organizational leadership.
Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation; addresses patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
Administers medications and treatments per protocol, monitors for side effects, and documents care details.
Assesses learning needs and educates patients and families, identifying resources and issues.
Preferred candidates have a BSN, at least 1 year of related experience, and current BLS and ACLS certifications.
New hires must complete orientation and competency validations; certifications are obtained within specified grace periods.
Work schedule is TBD; position is per diem as needed.
