This opportunity is based in Jefferson Hills, PA, and requires a regular onsite presence. There is no relocation assistance provided with this opportunity.

Overview of Opportunity:

As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to create cutting-edge designs for mechanical components, equipment, and machinery, including vacuum chambers, sub-assemblies, systems, and robots. Dive into hands-on work, engaging in the fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of mechanical products. Collaborate with experienced engineers and supervisors, bringing your creativity and fresh ideas to the table. With diverse responsibilities, you'll apply your engineering expertise to a variety of tasks, ensuring new and exciting challenges.

Responsibilities:

Design and detail mechanical components used in the KJLC product lines

Work to budgets and timelines relative to project tasks

Create Bills of Material in the corporate ERP system

Engage with Sales and Product Management regarding project requirements, and interface with internal machine shop staff to determine cost-effective manufacturing solutions

Ensure timely compliance with company workplace policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

Strong 3D CAD experience

Strong knowledge of GD&T principles

Minimum two (2) years experience in mechanical design

Preferred

Two (2) years experience with Solid Edge or other mid-range modeling package.
