Electrical Designer - Industrial Equipment

VTEK Consulting Group Inc . has over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.

We are currently seeking a Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to one of our major client projects.

Flexible Hours: Flexible working hours (7am-6pm). Closed for a few days for Christmas holidays.

Participate in the design of plans, specifications, and electrical details for current projects.

Carry out sizing calculations and selection of electrical equipment.

Plan and detail the grounding network, heating cables, and controllers.

Review technical documents received from suppliers and contractors, coordinate with other stakeholders, and provide status updates as required.

Technical Support and Supervision: Provide technical support to the site team during the execution of construction work.

Supervise and work in conjunction with technicians and designers assigned to the projects.

Prepare, verify, and issue technical quotes for the purchase of equipment.

Participate in the verification and production of tender calls, clarifications, and other technical documents for the purchase of various components and materials.

Carry out any other related tasks that can help carry out projects in the field of petroleum product terminals, in relation to the expertise developed.

University bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

Familiar with the Canadian Electrical Code and other industry standards and best practices (IEEE, API). Professional Engineering designation or eligibility required.
