DeltaV DCS Programmer – Calgary-Based Immediate Hire

This is *not* a software developer or IT programming role. Requires Industrial Automation Experience and Education. We are specifically hiring a **DeltaV DCS Programmer** with hands-on experience in configuring and modifying industrial control systems used in manufacturing, energy, or process automation environments.

Role Overview

· Position: DeltaV DCS Programmer (Intermediate to Senior)

· Rate: $100/hour All-In

· Contract: 1 Year with Possibility to Extend

· Start: ASAP

️ Key Responsibilities

· Lead DeltaV programming and system integration tasks

· Conduct loop checks, cause & effect testing, and logic validation

· Modify and optimize DeltaV configurations for operational excellence

· Troubleshoot DCS programming issues in a fast-paced commissioning setting

· Create and maintain accurate documentation for configuration and testing

· Ensure safety, compliance, and functionality across all systems

Required Education & Experience

· Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Process Automation

· Minimum 5 years of hands-on DeltaV programming experience (NOT general IT or coding)

· Deep knowledge of Emerson DeltaV systems, process control logic, and industrial automation

· Must be a certified member of APEGA or ASET

· Strong problem-solving skills and experience working independently in commissioning environments

· Canadian work experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or manufacturing sectors

· Located in or near Calgary
