Experienced B Tech Mechanic

At Atomic Transport, we take pride in being a leading local bulk hauling company based out of Chattanooga, TN with a dedicated fleet of company-owned assets and W2 drivers. Specializing in waste transportation from local transfer stations to landfills, we operate over 25 terminals across the Southeast, Midwest and the Westcoast. We are growing and looking for passionate individuals to grow with us. We are currently seeking an experienced B Tech Mechanic to join our team in the Conroe, TX area to support our expanding operations. What We Can Offer:

Pay: $18–$28/hour, based on experience

$1,000 Sign-On Bonus

Weekly Pay with time and a half for overtime

Schedule: Monday–Friday plus Saturdays as needed

Paid Time Off, Holidays, and Orientation Job Responsibilities:

Perform both minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers

Diagnose and service Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems

Use engine diagnostic software to troubleshoot issues

Conduct regular maintenance and safety checks

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Perform road-side service calls as needed

Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed

Must reside in the Conroe, TX area

Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or technician

Strong knowledge of diesel engines, exhaust systems, and diagnostic tools

Must have your own set of basic hand tools

Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Must pass pre-employment screening (drug test and background check)
