Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The Maintenance Technician will interact with supervisors and co-workers to achieve company objectives while ensuring safety and efficiency. The role requires wearing proper PPE in designated areas and being self-motivated to work both independently and collaboratively. The technician will perform preventative maintenance checks, troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment, and test equipment post-repair to ensure safety and cleanliness. Responsibilities also include maintaining housekeeping standards, responding to production-down issues swiftly, performing quality tasks, and training others in equipment usage and maintenance skills.
Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance checks and inspections.
Utilize PC-based maintenance management systems.
Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment systematically.
Test equipment after repairs ensuring a clean and safe environment.
Maintain proper housekeeping expectations.
Follow and promote safety expectations on the job.
Respond to production-down issues minimizing downtime.
Perform tasks to meet or exceed customer requirements.
Conduct welding and metal fabrication duties.
Train others in troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
Perform basic electrical work and document as per State Electrical code.
Complete all assigned work orders.
Be available for call-in as needed, willing to work overtime, and rotate shifts.
Participate in cross-functional teams to resolve plant-wide issues.
Perform preventative maintenance on alternate shifts as necessary.Essential Skills

Skills in troubleshooting electrical, PLC’s, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems are a plus.

Work Environment
The position involves standing for long periods, working in varying temperatures, and lifting weights of 50 to 70 pounds. It requires energy and consistent attendance, with exposure to mechanical hazards, dust, dirt, odors, irritants, and high noise levels. Tasks may involve kneeling, lifting, crouching, bending, pulling, pushing, and twisting. Shift hours are as follows: 1st Shift Monday - Friday 6am to 2:30pm, 2nd Shift Monday - Friday, 2pm to 10:30pm.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $62400.00/yr.
