Job Title: Shop Helper

Job Description

Join our fabrication department as a Shop Helper, where you will receive training on the brake press. You will need to read blueprints, perform basic shop math, and debur parts using hand grinders.

Responsibilities

Assist with the fabrication department operations.

Train on and operate the brake press efficiently.

Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

Perform basic shop math calculations.

Debur parts using hand grinders.Essential Skills

Mechanical aptitude to utilize hand and power tools.

Ability to read a tape measure and blueprints.

Capability to lift 25lbs consistently.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with grinding, mechanical aptitude, and press brake operations.

Machine operator skills in fabrication, assembly, grinding, and power tool usage.

Forklift operation experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Our facility offers a complete one-stop metal fabricating shop experience, working 50-hour weeks with a choice of shifts. The 1st shift operates from 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Friday. The 2nd shift timings are to be determined.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hortonville, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
