Job Description

CNC Setup Operator - Berea, OH

Hours: 6am - 2:30pm

$30 - $40/hr

SUMMARY: The Acme Setup Operator is responsible for all inspection, preventative maintenance, upkeep, and proper usage of the Acme machine.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operates Acme machine

Interchanges cutting tools within the Acme machine

Monitors and maintains fluid levels within Acme machine

Cleans Acme machine before and after use as needed

Operates crane for Acme setup

Produces parts to Dimensional Control Plan (DCP)

Follows all necessary work instructions and procedures as laid out by company’s QMS (ISO)

Reports quality updates to supervisor daily

Follows all established work instructions and standard operating procedures, including the “setup

procedure list”

Follows all internal, OSHA, and outside agency safety regulations

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience – 3-5 years manufacturing experience with Acme

preferred; minimum of 1 year experience with micrometers preferred

Computer Skills - Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, utilize in-house ERP system
