THE JOB / THE GIST
Responsible for installation execution within required budget constraints while ensuring superior customer service and the highest quality of work. Acts as the front-line point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication. Collaborates with sales and the operations manager to achieve gross profit targets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Hours: Set by manager. May include night work (11 PM to 7 AM) as needed.
Travel: Required throughout Texas.
Install security systems including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and other low-voltage technologies.
Ensure all work meets internal quality, safety, and code compliance standards.
Provide outstanding on-site customer service with professionalism and clear communication.
Act as the on-site client liaison, handling questions, concerns, and technical issues.
Coordinate with project managers, sales, and operations to meet project timelines and budgets.
Test, troubleshoot, and commission systems for optimal performance.
Maintain accurate records including job logs, as-built drawings, and system documentation.
Obtain customer sign-off to confirm satisfaction and job completion.
Offer clients basic system training and post-installation support.
Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized job site.

REQUIREMENTS
To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
Minimum 2 years of experience in security system installation or a similar low-voltage field
Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and related systems
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Skilled with hand/power tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment
Strong troubleshooting abilities and customer service orientation
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver’s license with a clean record; willingness to travel to job sites
Must pass a background check and drug screening per company/client requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience
High school diploma or GED required
Technical training or certifications (BICSI, NICET, ESA, manufacturer-specific) preferred
