Are you a seasoned Truss Design professional ready to take your leadership to the next level?

We're seeking a Truss Design Manager with deep MiTek experience to lead a high-performing team in one of the fastest-growing markets in Texas.

This is more than a job-it's a leadership role with real impact.

You'll mentor talented designers, implement process improvements, and collaborate directly with operations and manufacturing leaders.

Responsibilities:

A blended team of in-office and remote truss designers

Scheduling and workflow to align with production and customer demand

Ongoing training and mentorship to build internal talent

Design reviews to ensure code compliance and structural excellence

Coordination with manufacturing to deliver on time, every time

Customer-facing design issue resolution with a proactive mindset

Process innovation to drive quality and efficiency across the department

Provide oversight and support for estimating activities, including guiding the truss estimation team and contributing to design tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years using MiTek design software

2+ years in a leadership or management role

Expertise in both single-family and multifamily truss design

Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans

Organized, detail-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities

Excellent communication and team-building skills
