Job Description

Medix is hiring for a full time Phlebotomist Float position to cover Ohio clinic locations including Columbus, Mason, Cincinnati, Athens, Lancaster. Monday-Friday, day shift, no weekends or holidays!

REQUIREMENTS:

2+ years Phlebotomy experience.

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Phlebotomist Certification is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Travel to client sites on short notice and provide professional, courteous patient interactions.

Collect and process specimens (blood, urine, etc.) accurately and safely per protocol and regulatory standards.

Enter patient, specimen, and billing information with precision; verify test orders and documentation.

Maintain cleanliness, proper PPE usage, and compliance with safety, privacy, and corporate policies.

Perform clerical tasks, manage inventory, and communicate effectively with clients, staff, and supervisors.
