SUMMARY:
Pelsis is currently seeking an International Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator who can advance our strategy to provide Best-in-Class service with a primary focus on international order entry, shipping, and customer service. This role reports through the Sales Division, working closely with our customers and Sales Team. We desire an individual who understands the urgent nature of business, can speak with customers about the status of their purchase orders, and who has a working knowledge of the processing of international orders, supporting documents/customs and freight brokerage. The International CSR will have responsibility for daily cross-functional interactions to ensure accuracy of information. Efficiency, timeliness, and effective communication are critical factors affecting our facility’s performance and customer retention.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
Provides accurate order entry and quality customer service
Identify the most cost-effective international freight options
Collaborate with production and shipping ensuring product availability details required for completed orders to include pallet counts, weights, and dims
Initiate freight quotes and organization of collection of shipments
Completion of all export documentations including commercial invoices, packing slips, harmonized coding, and country specific customs forms
Follow-up with carriers for customs clearance updates and POD’s
Updating of required SharePoint spreadsheets
Works with other departments to facilitate orders and bids
Tracks and monitors orders from receipt to delivery at customer location
Ensures timely response to customer inquiries
Maintains accurate customer data and customer specifications
Ensures orders are priced accurately
Adheres to Return Material Authorization process
Addresses customer concerns regarding product or services timely and accurately
Engages in cross functional collaboration to ensure successful order fulfillment
Manages day-to-day tasks with minimal supervision
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience with international order processing, supporting documentations/customs and freight brokerage
Excellent phone etiquette, courteous, professional communication
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
4 years minimum of order entry and management experience in ERP/MRP/WMS systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus)
Understanding of manufacturing / production process
Proven success with problem solving
Excellent customer service skills
Demonstrated ability to work as a team member
Good follow-up and follow-through skills
Notary public a plus
COMPETENCIES, PHYSICAL DEMANDS, AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. regularly.
Exposure to warehouse conditions, including noise and temperature fluctuations.
