Summary:

BirdDog has been in business for 19 years and we currently employ over 130 people. This is a great opportunity to be involved in a highly visible position in the company and work on all aspects of our business as well as utilize your diverse set of programming and IT skills. This position reports directly to the Director of Information Technology.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

We are looking for someone with a diverse set of skills that can run every facet of our IT systems. This is a hands-on position that would handle programming of new systems and solutions, updating current systems and solutions, program analysis and design, troubleshooting, server management and database management. This person should be an ‘A’ player, central part of our IT department, idea person, problem solver and have a great imagination.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with our IT staff, Client Services team and top executives in the company. This is a very functional and dynamic position, so the skills and qualifications listed below are key. Although we are a large employer, the work environment is much like a small business with our main office in Palatine, IL. Even though we have an office space, most employees work from home. This position is a work from home opportunity as well.

This is a programmer position and not a directing position. This is one of the lead programming positions for our company.

Salary: $60,000 to $80,000

Qualifications:

Seeking ‘A’ player IT skills, ideas and imagination

5+ years of programming experience is required.

Solid Experience in the following is required: .Net programming in C# in a web development environment. We are in the process of switching from VB.net to C#.

Experience in SignalR, MVC, and Entity Framework a plus.

Solid Experience in SQL Server 2019/2022 T-SQL is required.

Experience in HTML 5, CSS, and JavaScript is required.

Experience in JQuery. JSON is required.
