Job Description
Join our team as a Wood Fabrication Shop Helper, where you will play a crucial role in constructing structural and architectural pieces for park construction projects. This position involves working with wood materials, laying out assemblies, and ensuring quality through precise measurements and drawings.
Responsibilities
Fabricate wood by laying out assemblies according to provided drawings.
Saw parts as needed for specific projects.
Drill timber frames for creating structural and architectural pieces.
Perform material handling and prepare outgoing shipments for orders.
Conduct quality checks using measurement tools and blueprints.Essential Skills
Proficient in using a tape measure.
Skilled in power and hand tool operations.
Experienced in wood fabrication and woodworking.
Able to read and interpret drawings and blueprints accurately.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment
Work in a back shop environment that is exposed to the elements, experiencing cold temperatures in the winter and heat in the summer. The company specializes in manufacturing a wide range of products, from park benches to playground equipment, serving clients nationally.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
