Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technologist
The Opportunity:
As an engineering technologist on our team, you’ll apply your theoretical and practical knowledge of electronics to your client’s programs and technical problems. You’ll work with our engineers and government client to design, develop, and test technical solutions for their radio frequency system requirements.
On our team, you’ll use your knowledge of electrical and electronics technologies to work with our engineers to provide your client with technical RF solutions and help build the systems to make it all real. You’ll apply electrical and electronic theory and related knowledge, usually under the direction of engineering staff, to design, build, repair, adjust, and modify electrical components, circuitry, controls, and machinery for subsequent evaluation and use by engineering staff in making engineering design decisions. You’ll apply engineering techniques, principles, and precedents to develop, design, modify, install, test, evaluate, or operate electrical, electronic, avionics, mechanical, communications, or related data processing systems for DoD communication systems, public-safety radio systems, meshed radios, networks, and associated support equipment or components. You’ll develop, prepare, or apply engineering, technical, or maintenance specifications, policies, standards, or procedures. You’ll also provide data and inputs to senior team members for reports or presentations of technical data and information, and perform tests and evaluations of systems equipment or components.

You Have:
20+ years of experience troubleshooting and solutioning DoD networks or communication systems
1+ years of experience in Project-25 compatible public-safety radio communications sites and systems
Experience integrating RF systems into mobile and transit case systems for Unified Command Suite (UCS), Joint Incident Site Communications Capability (JISCC), and associated family of systems
Experience applying electrical and electronic theory to design, build, repair, adjust, and modify electrical components, circuitry, controls, and machinery
Experience working in a team environment
Knowledge of the Microsoft Office tool suite

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
