The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a candidate that will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the design, migration, implementation, enhancement, optimization and maintenance of network infrastructure. The candidate shall lead network architecture and design efforts, will be responsible for installations, upgrades and support problem resolution. The candidate will design, install, configure and provide support to the client. Other responsibilities include maintaining the network hardware and software as well as monitoring performance, configuring network devices, ensuring security updates and making necessary upgrades to ensure availability to all system users. The candidate will support the network integration of IP/MPLS based LAN/WAN network infrastructure and make recommendations to address complex architecture and engineering problems.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support on development of all network architecture and engineering initiatives

• Developing and leading design of new network capabilities and architecture where network connectivity is lacking or non-existent

• With client oversight, plans and leads major network optimization and hardware recapitalization projects

• Support under this task focuses on designing, engineering and implementation of complex networks

• O&M of existing networks

• Travel for installs and upgrades to network (local and OCONUS)

Qualifications:

Required:

• Active TS/SCI clearance with required polygraph.

• Minimum of 15 years of current experience in network engineering and a deep understanding of network protocols and technologies

• Experience designing, analyzing, configuring, and implementing complex network architectures

• Experience with network hardware, software systems, and technologies and demonstrate the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex network issues in a large organization

• Experience effectively communication with technical and non-technical stakeholder to balance requirements, performance, cost and security concern when architecting and designing solutions to meet customer requirements

• Demonstrated experience monitoring network performance and troubleshooting network issues to resolve latency issues and security concerns

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address network-related issues

• Demonstrated experience documenting network configurations, processes, and procedures

• Ability to identify and mitigate program risks

• Experience implementing security standards in anticipation of fast-paced change of operations

• Strong knowledge of Juniper, switches, and patches

Desired:

• Knowledge of customer technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Forward Networks, VMware, Solarwinds

• IT certification in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields

• Cisco CCNA, Cisco CCNP

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional

• Juniper JNCIA – Enterprise/Service Provider Routing and Switching

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is: $119,800 - $263,600
