Position Overview:
We are looking for a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who possesses strong diagnostic evaluation and developmental assessment skills. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in both administering and interpreting a wide array of psychological and neurodevelopmental tests. The Clinical Psychologist will collaborate closely with our Mental Health specialists and clinical team to deliver precise diagnoses and guide the creation of individualized treatment plans for adolescents and adults.
This role is designed for a professional who is an expert in evaluating Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, developmental delays, and related conditions. The position is on-site at Althing’s Clinic in Austin; however it offers opportunities for remote work if appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess individuals who may have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities, or other developmental and mental health concerns.
Employ standardized assessment tools, including the ADOS-2, Vineland-3, BASC-3, and cognitive/IQ tests, to ensure precise and accurate diagnoses.
Interpret and analyze assessment results to provide accurate diagnoses and recommendations.
Collaborate effectively with both internal and multidisciplinary teams to integrate diagnostic findings into the development of individualized treatment plans.
Complete timely and detailed psychological evaluation reports.
Provide families with compassionate and understandable feedback regarding diagnoses, including clear explanations and recommendations for treatment strategies.
Maintain meticulous and accurate documentation that adheres to all ethical, legal, and professional standards, including those set forth by HIPAA.
Required Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted license as a Clinical Psychologist in Minnesota.
Doctoral degree (PsyD or PhD) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
Experience with ASD/ADHD assessments is highly preferred.
Display exceptional abilities in both verbal and written communication, with the capacity to articulate complex assessment results in a clear and understandable manner to families and other professionals.
Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team.
Pay: Starting at $110,000.00 per year / From $53.00 per hour
