Job Title: Employee Relations Manager
Location: Portland, Oregon (Hybrid)
Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Employee Relations Manager to join our team in Portland, Oregon. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both remotely and on-site. The Employee Relations Manager will be responsible for managing employee relations programs, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement employee relations policies and procedures.
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations issues.
Conduct investigations into employee complaints and grievances.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
Mediate and resolve conflicts between employees and management.
Collaborate with HR and management to develop strategies for improving employee engagement and retention.
Maintain accurate records of employee relations cases and outcomes.
Conduct training sessions on employee relations topics for managers and employees.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee relations or a related HR role.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
