Job Description

Controller-

There is flex on the schedule (start and end time), but it's a 40 hour/week job, 8 hours days M-F.

Possibility down the road of earning hybrid schedule.

1. Set up Eclipse (ERP) GL to be able to utilize the annual ASA benchmarking survey.

2. (Operating Performance Report).

3. Work toward creating a meaningful branch by branch P&L.

4. Monitor collections, cash flow, and develop a credit policy that will attempt to drastically reduce write-offs while not strangling sales.

5. Interface with accountants on write-offs

6. Audit expenses (utilities, phones, etc.)

7. Inventory valuation that is halfway accurate, considering purchase rebates.

8. Manual bank reconciliations of all bank accounts

9. Post payroll to GL

10. Calculate and file quarterly sales taxes.

11. Record sales, purchases, expenses and other transactions into the general ledger by obtaining reports from various subsidiary ledgers.

12. Track business property and file 571-Ls (fixed assets)

13. Develop and monitor a consistent cash sale process, from processing the sale to the actual cash getting in the bank.

14. Handle all filing and approvals of all business licenses, property tax, miscellaneous fees, etc.

15. Monitor all accounting personnel and modify procedures where necessary.

16. Handle all merchant calls and be responsible for maintaining all contracts.

17. Monitor and negotiate all trucks for mileage, lease terms, recommendations for replacements, etc.

18. Budgeting for future expansion and S-corp distributions
