A client AISC certified Steel company based in Texas is looking for Safety Coordination in their fabrication shop. They deliver a turn-key steel package to their clients in Texas and surrounding states. Projects range from Commercial Institutional, Modular Warehouses, Industrial and Heavy Truss. Seeking to a Safety Coordinator to our steel fabrication shop in Houston Metro.

Safety Coordinator Duties:

Shop Inspections, PPE Ordering/Inspecions

Safety Meetings (Toolbox Talks)

New Hire Orientations

Bi-weekly meetings with Safety Committee

Monitor compliance with Safety Protocols

Injury / Near miss investigations

Safety Corrective Actions

Kick off Meetings for jobs

Visitor Safety Briefings

Safety Coordinator Required Skills:

Knowledge of Safety regulations and policies

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Proficient in technology and equipment used in inspections.

Flexible work hours to interact with night shift.

Bilingual Spanish/English is a must.
