DATA CLERK

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Clerk to join our growing team. Reporting to the Database Analyst, the Data Clerk will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data in Federation databases and systems. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage large volumes of information efficiently. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the integrity and reliability of data, supporting the entire organization with timely and accurate information. The Data Clerk will work in collaboration with other team members to advance the mission of the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston.

The primary responsibilities for this role will include:

· Enter and update donor information into the Federation’s CRM, verifying data for completeness and accuracy.

· Perform high-volume data entry tasks; ensuring accuracy and efficiency in recording donor and constituent information.

· Assist in database clean-up and audits to ensure data integrity.

· Retrieve and compile data as needed.

· Collaborate with the philanthropy, marketing, education, and impact teams to support campaigns, programs, and events.

· Support the Operations team administratively.

· Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of donor information at all times.

REQUIRED SKILLS

· Associates degree required; Bachelors degree preferred

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and Dynamics.

· High attention to detail, accuracy, and quality control

· Strong organizational skills with ability to push multiple, parallel workstreams to completion

· Pro-active approach to task management with ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

· Prior experience in a non-profit environment is a plus

· Team player and self-starter
