The Regional Sales Chain Manager is a critical front-line role responsible for identifying and onboarding new up and coming multi-unit Foodservice accounts. This role direct works in partnership with Foodservice Marketing, Trade Strategy and the Research & Development team to leverage data, insights & capabilities solve customer issues and deliver category growth.

Responsibilities

Develop and Execute targeting plans and strategies in coordination with the Marzetti Foodservice Fiscal Year objectives.

Manage and direct all sales efforts as the Region Chain Manager for assigned customers across varying US geographies.

Defend and expand existing base of Customized and Branded business at current active customers through account penetration and increasing menu usage.

Develop new and profitable Customized and Branded business at targeted accounts by identifying value added solutions to meet customers menu needs. Establish sales market plans and manage the sales execution to achieve objectives. Manage spending to ensure the delivery of sales results within approved spending levels.

Manage customer relationships at all levels at assigned chain accounts. Focus on generating profitable business by developing customer strategies that address customer goals, objectives, and culture. Manage customer agreements that deliver against annual operating plans.

Manage and orchestrate all customer opportunities and activities, utilizing the appropriate resources to win.

Develop and execute strategic plan to optimize the utilization of all Maretti packaging platforms

Develop and execute pricing strategies with assigned and targeted customers.

Participate in the development, implementation and achievement of annual budgets.

Analyze business trends to develop business growth strategy and manage total opportunity pipeline.

Create and maintain a positive environment consistent with Marzetti Foodservice’s “The Better Way” that exemplifies the Marzetti Foodservice products in the marketplace.

Establish travel cadence in orders to maintain high visibility in all markets, to ensure positive representation,, focus on Marzetti Foodservice’s “The Better Way”

Qualifications

BA/BS degree.

4-5 years prior experience in foodservice sales/marketing with Multi-Unit/Large Account management experience.
