Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Attorney with at least 5 years of legal experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must be licensed to practice in both New Jersey and New York, and have proven experience in civil litigation, real estate law, and insurance litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters from inception to resolution.

Handle residential and commercial real estate transactions and related disputes.

Represent clients in insurance-related litigation, including coverage disputes and defense matters.

Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and legal memoranda.

Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.

Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.

Collaborate with firm partners and team members on strategy and case management.

Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school.

Active bar admission in both New Jersey and New York is required.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience.

Strong litigation and courtroom experience.

Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

Ability to manage multiple matters independently and meet deadlines.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Experience with real estate closings and insurance litigation is a strong plus.
