Position Title: Lead Solution Analyst / Solution Design Lead

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Solution Design Lead to play a key role in shaping technology solutions that align with business objectives. This individual will serve as a vital link between business teams and technical delivery groups, ensuring that requirements are accurately captured, thoroughly analyzed, and translated into practical, scalable technical designs.

Combining the analytical rigor of a Business Analyst with the architectural mindset of a Solution Architect, this role demands strong collaboration, documentation, and design capabilities to support high-impact transformation and modernization projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Business & Technical Analysis

Collaborate with stakeholders across business units to understand goals, challenges, and operational needs.

Lead the analysis and documentation of functional and non-functional requirements using interviews, workshops, and data analysis.

Validate business needs through process modeling, gap analysis, and stakeholder feedback.

Solution Planning & Documentation

Develop clear, thorough documentation including technical requirements, data flow diagrams, integration points, and solution outlines.

Author user stories and acceptance criteria to support agile delivery models.

Provide developers and engineers with clear, actionable specifications.

Solution Alignment & Design Collaboration

Partner with Solution Architects and engineering teams to shape end-to-end solution designs that meet performance, scalability, and security expectations.

Ensure architectural consistency and adherence to enterprise technology standards.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

Translate complex technical concepts into business language and vice versa to facilitate shared understanding.

Act as a liaison between technical teams and business sponsors throughout the project lifecycle.

Drive traceability from requirements to delivery, ensuring business objectives are met.

Delivery Support & Quality Assurance

Participate in design reviews and walkthroughs to ensure technical implementations align with requirements.

Support QA efforts through requirement clarification and test case validation.

Monitor project progress to address blockers and ensure high-quality outcomes.

Governance & Risk Management

Identify risks, dependencies, and potential failure points early in the planning process.

Integrate compliance, data privacy, and regulatory considerations into all specifications.

Contribute to enterprise governance by upholding design standards and documentation practices.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

Keep abreast of emerging technologies and methodologies that enhance solution delivery.

Promote standardization and best practices in analysis, documentation, and solution design across teams.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 7 years of experience in a combined business/technical analysis or solution design role.

Demonstrated success in bridging business needs and technical execution within complex environments.

Solid grasp of software development lifecycles, agile delivery practices, DevOps culture, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Proven experience producing technical specifications, diagrams, and structured documentation.

Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to work across technical and business domains.

Experience with collaboration and documentation tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.

Understanding of compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) and enterprise-level security requirements.

Preferred Experience:

Background in customer communications, digital content delivery, or document management systems.

Exposure to AI-driven tools for documentation, automation, or testing.

Experience guiding enterprise migrations or major modernization initiatives.

Ability to lead and mentor analysts or designers in requirements engineering and solution planning.Company Description
