Job Summary:
As a Regional Sales Representative, you will manage existing customers as well as develop new business along the East Coast from Virginia north to Massachusetts and surrounding territory. Our Outside Sales reps drive business development and serve as a representative of the company, ultimately acting as a point of contact for our clients ensuring they receive premium products with a high degree of customer satisfaction in a manner that is profitable for the company. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, the ability to develop business in an industry with high demand and limited competition, and that "extra something" that separates the most successful people from the rest.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive business development, build and maintain close relationships with clients, and ensure customer satisfaction in the assigned territory
Provide excellent customer service and prompt responses to all customer inquiries
Develop the skills and product/service offerings knowledge necessary to become an expert in our business
Speak effectively with existing customers and educate prospective customers on the various products and services we offer
Research, obtain, organize, analyze and report sales and marketing data for the territory
Develop business plans for meeting revenue objectives
Attend industry functions, promote our company image and recognition within the assigned territory
Prepare and submit quotations, reports, sales reports and other pertinent documentation as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Experience in construction equipment rental, sales manufacturing or managing construction projects is preferred
Dewatering, water transfer, bypass and trenching experience is ideal
Knowledge of budgeting, cost estimating and bidding procedures
Knowledge of contract documents and specifications a plus
Communication skills and a professional demeanor
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet job requirements
Ability to travel 50 to 75% of the time
