Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a highly motivated Vice President of Facilities to lead our Real Estate, Facilities and Environmental Health and Safety organization. This key corporate leadership role will empower the business to deliver on our critical, secure missions for our customers and through modern facilities and agile facility and real estate strategies.

In this role, you will have responsibility for leading a talented team of multi-disciplined experts that deliver facility services for classified and unclassified environments across the enterprise. You will coordinate logistics for office spaces, labs, warehouses, secure spaces (SCIFs), and other locations. You will be responsible for the facilities and real estate budget, and managing vendor relationships and lease negotiations.

In this role, you will oversee facilities and environmental health and safety policies and procedures for the company. The VP of Facilities is responsible for compliance with contract requirements, Federal and state regulations and industry standards, and compliance with safety and other requirements (related to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), greenhouse gas, manufacturing, etc.). Related staff training and education are key elements of the role as well.

The ideal candidate will ensure that our Real Estate, Facilities and Environmental Health and Safety organization operates as a collaborative partner to our sectors for program execution and winning new business. They will need to maintain a comprehensive roadmap to continually evolve and advance our physical footprint. As an effective leader, they will need to possess strong collaborative leadership skills. The position requires the ability to adjust to new and evolving requirements within a fast-paced, PE-backed environment. The qualified executive will possess a wide breadth of demonstrated business, financial, and management skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management a related discipline, or equivalent years’ experience 14+ years of experience in key contributor and leadership roles in Operations, to include experience in Real Estate, Facilities and Environmental Health and Safety.

Ability to develop and implement a comprehensive Real Estate strategy to meet current and future Peraton needs.

Demonstrated ability to drive stellar team collaboration to empower delivery of services and long-term success.

Ability to establish and maintain Real Estate, Facilities and Environmental Health and Safety organization policies and procedures to ensure an environment that meets Federal, customer and Peraton requirements

Demonstrated ability to prepare, manage and track budgets while ensuring high return on corporate investment.

Financial management is critical to ensure accurate accounting and tracking of accounts and General Ledger, Capital and Tennent Improvement Funds, and Budgets and Forecasts

Drive alternative sources of funding. Capital, Landlord Tennent Improvement Funds, Customer, Sublessor

Proven ability to support new business growth by offering various solutions and writing fact-based proposals to secure program wins.

Expertise with the implementation of SCIF builds and maintenance to meet government requirements.

Experience in negotiation of Terms & Conditions and Scope with Vendors and Landlords

Must have a passion for driving user/employee satisfaction and a track record of delivering measurable improvements

Demonstrated ability to proactively build relationships with executives throughout the organization, ensuring support for strategic initiatives

Target Salary Range

$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
