Job Title: Systems Architect (Expert Level)
Place of Performance: 199 Church Street, New York, NY 10007 (Hybrid – 50% telecommute)
Minimum Experience: 7+ years in enterprise-level development and systems architecture with emphasis on Workers' Compensation Insurance systems
Rate: $67/hr - $91/hr
Employment Type: Contract on W2
Duration: 30 Months
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Systems Architect to support multiple mission-critical insurance-related systems. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in developing, supporting, and enhancing web-based applications for billing, policy administration, and quote processing within the Workers’ Compensation Insurance domain. This position offers a mix of in-office and remote work, and requires strong hands-on experience with Oracle, .NET, and modern web technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop technology solutions for complex business systems
Plan, modify, test, and implement code for enhancements and production support
Develop Oracle stored procedures, packages, and triggers
Build batch applications using .NET and Oracle
Support in-house systems including:
Billing and Collection System (cash processing, refund, cancellations, etc.)
iNB System (quote processing and automation)
iPAM System (policy lifecycle administration and maintenance)
Collaborate with team members to communicate and translate software requirements
Ensure alignment with development standards, SDLC practices, and IT governance
Qualifications:
84+ months of experience in development/support for:
Policy administration for Workers’ Compensation Insurance
Billing and collection for Compensation and Disability Insurance
Quote processing systems
84+ months of experience in Oracle PL/SQL including use of Packages, Types, Triggers, and Advanced Queuing
84+ months experience as a .NET application developer using TFS and Visual Studio 2019 or newer
84+ months experience with web development technologies: JavaScript, CSS, XML, XSLT, HTML, AJAX
36+ months of experience with Planview PPM Pro (formerly Innotas)
