Job Description

The Engineering Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a top pharmaceutical organization in the Raleigh, NC area that has an opening for an Operational Readiness Project Manager.

The Project Manager will support Large-Scale Manufacturing (LSM) Modernization project for bringing a new Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to a drug substance manufacturing area.

Responsibilities

Lead meetings, capturing meeting minutes, identifying and tracking action items, development of risk registers and mitigations and drive the team for adherence to plan. Provide schedule development support.

Track operational readiness action items, develop plans to support approach, and provide monthly status dashboards.

Work cross functionally with MTO, QA, QE, Materials Planning, Manufacturing among other groups.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Project Management, other technical fields of study

7+ years’ experience successfully leading projects

Must have experience supporting the pharmaceutical industry

Project management tools: PMBOK, PMI principles to lead projects

Experience in leading or supporting operational readiness elements of projects

Experience working on or with Manufacturing Electronic Systems (MES) or electronic batch records implementation projects is desired

Not looking for an Agile (IT based) PM

Additional Notes:

Onsite position, 5 days a week

6-month contract with the possibility of extension dependent on project needs.

Hourly rate approved up to $88/hr depending on experience

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
