Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

We have an immediate need for a Maintenance Mechanic Tech at a leading manufacturing company conveniently located in Swedesboro, NJ. This is a full time direct hire opportunity. The hours required are 12 hour shifts from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM on a rotating schedule. Every other weekend is required.

Job Duties Include:

Perform various duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.

Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service.

Provides emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production

performs scheduled maintenance repairs fo production equipment during machine service.

Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.

Performs mechanic skills including but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic

troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.

Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and

service.

Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make adjustments.

Will use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.

Safely operate and repair forklift

Job Requirements Include:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures required.

Previous work experience in mechanical, electrical and/or experience

Able to effectively communicate.

Ability to muti-task in a fact pace environment.

Minimum of two years of related experience in packing machines or production machines.
