Summary/Objective:
The position will work with multiple departments based upon the needs of the business and workload demands. The IC Manager is responsible for directing, managing, and planning the tasks related to inventory management throughout the Custom Goods LLC network. This person will be accountable for verifying, tracking and reporting on inventory. This role involves using discretion and independent judgment for directing the activities of inventory matters.

Provide the necessary leadership that is associated with one or multiple buildings as well as maintaining a strong inventory control workforce
Manage and coordinate the activities of all the staff members engaged in inventory control and inventory data accuracy
Leverages a exceptional understanding of the WMS process and capabilities to develop methods and techniques that will help in achieving the best results for the customer and operation.
Responsible for creating standard operating procedures and internal/external reporting requirements, consistent with contractual customer requirements and Custom Goods standards.
Responsible for the assessment, revision(s), and updating of inventory control standard operating procedures to enhance performance based on changes in customer processes and/or WMS process flows.
Creates and presents operations with continuous improvement actions to maintain and improve customer’s inventory performance and health, in accordance with contractual agreement(s) and after rigorous analysis and root cause assessment of inventory reports.
Responsible for the leadership, development, and training for the teams in their respective site(s)
Prioritize IC staff schedules, organize projects to enhance the operation and improve decision making that will assure the availability of material to ensure customer KPIs/SLAs are at exceeded.
Manage and control the inventory stock cycle counting and inventory accuracy checks in accordance with customer contractual requirements.
The IC Manager will interface with customer(s), operations, and corporate across multiple organizational levels and disciplines in order to review and provide analysis of inventory for their responsible site(s). This person would compile, develop, document and implement inventory control procedures and review inventory records. They make adjustments as per the customer and Custom Goods requirements and review the usage requirements to determine the stock locations for minimal handling and improved flow.

Required Education and Experience
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university required.
2-5 years of previous management experience
Strong analytical and excellent problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal as well as written communication skills that are absolutely necessary to work in a service-focused professional environment.
Good organization and business administration skills.
Ability to supervise, instruct, and lead others to complete the assigned tasks, possibly across multiple regions remotely.
Be able to manage time effectively, as this person may need to handle multiple functions and meet the deadlines regularly.
Project management skills, investigative nature, advanced math strongly preferred
Be able to function independently with minimal supervision and should be self-motivated.
Physical Demands: Lift/carry, stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, manually manipulate 25-50 lbs., and reach outwards
