Gamma Freq Technologies, LLC is a small telecommunications construction company hired to complete Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile builds in MN, SD, WI, NE, IA, ND, and IL. We hold our employees to the highest quality of work and workplace safety.

Pay Summary:

DOE will discuss during an interview; Position pay range is $22-$25/hr

Job Summary:

Tower Technicians support all aspects of tower installations, including antenna, transmission line, and supporting civil components, according to all safety and quality guidelines and expectations.

Job Responsibilities:

Install radios, antennas, and associated RF equipment

Perform fiber, coax, and cable installation, connector installation, weather-proofing, running jumpers, color-coding, labeling, grounding, mount installation, down tilts, and use of antenna alignment tools, etc.

Comfortably and safely be able to work at heights up to 500ft

Possible groundwork, such as CAD welding

Troubleshoot alarms /fiber, power, and RSSI issues at sites using supplied test gear

Follow and comply with daily instructions, JHA, and safety requirements

Apply job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks

Recommended Minimum Job Requirements:

1-2 years industry-related experience

High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge of knots and tower rigging

Can you tie a Bowline?

Physical Requirements:

Must be in good physical condition with the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat, and lift 75 lbs.

Ability to pull his/her body weight, plus equipment weight, up a vertical tower to 500 feet repeatedly

Ability to reach, climb, and grasp ladders or other tall structures

Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather

Ability to work long and unpredictable hours

Ability to travel away from home up to 75% of the time, including weekends and extended travel

Technical Skills:

Ability to operate power tools and hand tools

Proven ability to perform fiber and sweep testing

Able to work directly with the foreman supporting customers, and the inventory of materials (BOM) based on job needs per plans

DC/AC electrical skills

Ability to troubleshoot and correct mechanical or electrical connections

Soft Skills:

Ability to read, comprehend, and carry out instructions

Strong verbal communication skills

Ability to meet strict deadlines

Ability to work independently and as a member of the team

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentCompany Description
