Ayers Insurance Agency, Inc. is offering a compelling opportunity for Personal and / or Commercial Lines, full-time, Licensed Insurance Sales Producer (Property and Casualty) - an expert who is passionate about the insurance industry, as well as solving complex business challenges.

We are an independent insurance agency representing many different carriers for various solutions. Our goal is to provide excellent customer service with coverages at an affordable rate.

Position Overview:

This position is primarily responsible for selling new business and renewing accounts in keeping with agency and individual goals. Conducts and reports sales activities to build a pipeline of prospects, generates sales prospects from various sources and carries the agency's reputation and professional manner of conducting business into dealings with clients, agency personnel and companies represented.

Essential Functions we are in search for:

Sales professional who sees beyond transactions to build long-term client partnerships.

Self-motivated individual who thrives on developing innovative insurance solutions.

Consultative approach with an understanding that each client's profile is unique, especially in a rapidly changing industry.

Remarket client renewals, as well as address concerns and provide alternative solutions to retain business.

Cross-sell current client’s opportunities to quote additional lines of business.

Follow up with clients concerning their needs - billing, policies, exposures, etc.

Maintains timeliness and completeness when interactive with customers, agency and company personnel to minimize potential for errors and omissions claims.

Meets or exceeds established annual sales production goals via generation of new accounts, as well as cross selling within the book of business.

Partners with Customer Service Representatives (CSR) to renew existing business to meet or exceed established retention goals.

Participates in seminars and classes for skill and knowledge development and meeting continuing education (CE) requirements. Professionally committed to continuous growth and learning.

Maintains current level of functional working knowledge on processes and coverage changes within the industry and carriers.

Keeps abreast of selling trends and techniques to maintain competitive status for the agency within the industry.

Engage in Marketing plans and campaigns.

Miscellaneous job duties and tasks.

Required Credentials and Background:

Insurance license in Ohio Property & Casualty.

Communication and organizational skills.

Proficiency with MS Office Suite

Proficiency with AMS360, Agency Zoom, and PL Rating - or equivalent CRM.

Proven track record in sales.

Demonstrated success in complex, consultative sales roles.

Compliance with regulatory laws and regulations.

Minimum three (3) years of experience.

Understands and explains policy, coverage, billing and eligibility provisions related to customer circumstances.

Service customers requesting quotes or changes to existing coverage and / or new policies. Determines acceptability and placement, completes applications or endorsements.
