Manages, analyzes and maintains the database administration, client server applications and technical infrastructure for the TUHS Epic clinical and financial applications across the enterprise. Will be responsible for creating and managing the database environments that serve production, reporting, disaster recovery, training, testing and validation needs. Will manage the ongoing Epic upgrade and update cycle, collaborating with the project and technical teams to ensure proactive support. Responsible for configuring and maintaining the environment copy scripts and configurations according to the enterprise environment strategy. Responsible for the installation and ongoing maintenance of the administrative and monitoring tools necessary to meet the expected high availability and performance metrics of the Epic system. This position will manage the daily operational work implementing and supporting the client-server systems environment for Epic client software such as Interconnect, Hyperspace, EPS, Web BLOB, Hyperspace Web, BCA, System Pulse, Kuiper and other Epic Windows based applications. Will work with Epic staff and various technical teams for capacity planning.
Education
Bachelors Degree : in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Required)
Masters Degree: in Computer Science, Management or related field (Preferred)
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience
5 Years experience with Epic Infrastructure (Required)
5 Years experience with Epic Client Systems (Required)
5 Years experience in IT systems management, business analysis, planning and large complex healthcare implementations (Required)
License/Certifications
EC - Epic Certification (Required)
