Position Purpose
By posting payroll to the general ledger, entering payments received from childcare billing and fundraising events, completing payroll transactions provides accurate and timely accounting data.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
Enters and maintains appropriate information regarding payroll and benefits in computer system utilizing Millennium software.
Works with confidential information regarding employee data, individuals served information, fund raising and contributions.
Prepares monthly payroll
Maintains vacation and sick records through Millennium software.
Prepares and enters cash deposits.
Prepares and completes monthly FCC statements and credit card payments for FCC and collections.
Tracks and prepares Festival of Trees Invoicing
Maintains frozen mean inventory records.
Monthly payroll journal entries – G/L entry.
A/R collection.
Festival billing.
Cash receipts – other.
Taxes – 990-T returns.
External requisitions.
NDACF report.
Education and/or Experience
Four-year degree in accounting or a business-related field or its equivalent. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential with the ability to implement goals and objectives required by the accounting profession.
