Northwest Builders, Inc. is expanding and looking for a full-time Drafting Technician to join our growing team in Rice Lake, WI. This full-time, in-office role offers a competitive pay range of $26 – $34 per hour, depending on experience.

THE TYPE OF ARCHITECTURAL DRAFTING TECH WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Experience with AutoCAD, BIM, or Revit

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

High attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple projects at once

Preferred:

Associate degree in architectural drafting or related experience

1+ year(s) of drafting experience

WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE OUR ARCHITECTURAL DRAFTING TECH

This is a full-time, in-office position with consistent hours from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

As an Architectural Drafting Tech, you will spend your days developing detailed plans, elevations, and sections of buildings for a variety of construction types, including wood-framed, steel-framed, and pre-engineered metal buildings. With guidance and oversight from the sales, estimating, and project management teams, you will participate in design meetings with clients and project members to create preliminary and schematic drawings. You will be expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
