Scrum Master - SAP Platform Teams

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master for our clients SAP Platform teams. This is a hands-on, facilitative role dedicated to enabling agile team success through effective collaboration, coaching, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will role model transparency and accountability and actively support team development and promoting agile values and principles.

This role is part of a larger team-of-teams and will work collaboratively with other Scrum Masters and Release Train Engineers, and will report to an Agile Rising Sr. Consultant leading the customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Facilitation and Coaching

Lead and facilitate team agile ceremonies that drive effective outcomes.

Foster collaborative decision-making within and across teams.

Coach teams on agile principles, practices, and behaviors.

Identify and eliminate impediments to team progress.

Address team conflicts constructively to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

Product & Delivery Support

Act as a partner and enabler to Product Owners.

Assist in creating and refining product backlogs and user stories.

Support team effort estimation and iteration planning.

Ensure transparency in progress tracking and reporting in Jira.

Enhance team productivity through continuous process improvements.

Continuous Improvement

Conduct retrospectives to drive meaningful improvements.

Establish and track meaningful agile metrics to drive team performance.

Address systemic issues collaboratively with leadership.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of Scrum Master experience, ideally with technology platform teams.

Deep understanding of Scrumban and a learning mindset (curiosity.)

Experience working in technically complex environments.

Experience with SAFe

Proven experience coaching agile teams and individuals.

Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SAP or similar enterprise platforms.

Work Location and Travel

This role is primarily remote and must be available during normal business hours easter time (8:00am-5:00pm EST).

Occasional in-office presence in the Philadelphia area is required for planning and collaborative events.

Preference will be given to candidates in the Philadelphia area.
