Verdantas is seeking a talented Staff I Engineer to join our team in the Fort Worth, TX office.

Responsibilities:

Organization and performance of field investigations

Logging of geotechnical borings and test pits, including soil and rock classification

Preparation of geotechnical reports

Work with design teams to incorporate geotechnical aspects into site designs

Operate and maintain company vehicles

Travel to work sites using a company vehicle. This position requires travel 90% of the time, including extended stays

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or a related field

EIT or on a PG track is preferred

0-2 years of experience with geotechnical laboratory testing and site grading

Experience with gINT, Lpile, SlopeW and AutoCAD is preferred

Capable of working primarily in an outdoor work environment and occasional office environment

Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 80 lbs. occasionally with or without an accommodation, sometimes over substantial distances

Must have a valid driver's license
