Fabrication Technician

Job Description

Join our dynamic team in Trenton, MI for our fabrication department. We are looking for skilled individuals who are passionate about fabrication and quality of aerospace components.

Our production fabricators are responsible for removal of excess material (Alloy), high metal, and cold working parts to customer specifications post braze.

Responsibilities

Benching of excess material on parts post braze

Removal of high metal/burrs

Contour/bending parts to item specifications

Inspection of parts processed to specification (Radial, height, length, and width)

Qualifications

Experience in sheet metal fabrication or auto body is a plus

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in manufacturing

Ability to use grinders and bench grinders

Ability to read basic blueprint requirements GD&T

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time

Ability to multi task and work to a standard production rate

You should be proficient in:

GD&T

Experience in a Manufacturing Environment

Blueprint Reading
