A Day in the Life
As an Operational Packaging Expert, you start your shift ready to maintain the delicate balance of machinery and products at our St. Louis facilities. From ensuring equipment operates flawlessly to leading specialized fills, your day is filled with diverse and engaging tasks aimed at maintaining high standards and safety. Your Mission
Promote and enforce safety protocols consistently among staff members.
Ensure that packaging areas and equipment are hygienic and ready for use.
Fill out and manage documentation in line with important FDA, ISO, and GMP protocols.
Carry out numerous product packaging tasks, adhering to all safety measures.
Manage and maintain both manual and automated machinery to ensure continued functionality.
Take charge of intricate filling projects with custom requirements.
Utilize SAP systems to document production processes and equipment usage.
Apply detailed written procedures to maintain high operational standards.
Address compliance gaps expediently when they are discovered in inspections.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards.
Undertake additional complementary tasks as necessary. Physical Requirements
Required to stand for protracted periods (up to 8 hours per day).
Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds, with equipment assistance if needed.
Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment as necessary. Shift Details
This position pertains to 2nd shift hours: Monday through Thursday, 1:30 pm to 12:00 am. Who We Seek
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalency.
At least 1 year in relevant chemical handling or packaging roles.
Previous experience with machine operators in a filling context.
Preferred Qualifications:
Multiple years in chemical production or research settings.
Familiarity with ISO or GMP environments.
Mathematical proficiency for handling metrics and conversions.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, troubleshooting, and computer systems.
Empowered problem-solver and communicator. Qualifications
